Mission Statement – Dayton Hamvention® – Inside Exhibits Volunteers

Inside Exhibits provides the organization for Hamvention vendors and enhances the show they provide for the attendees.

The duties of the Inside Exhibits committee are:

Organize booth layouts to accommodate vendor and show requirements
Efficiently book and prepare for each vendors arrival
Arrange special installs per vendor requirements
Establish a rapport between vendors for the benefit of amateur radio
Seek out new vendors who fit the ideals of Hamvention
Administrate the opening and closing of all that is Hamvention under roof

It is the goal of Inside Exhibits to put on the best show possible that promotes the current theme of Hamvention and all aspects of the amateur radio hobby. The theme should overlap with as many facets of amateur radio possible and be reflected in the vendor presentations. Vendor-specific goals will be tempered with the long-term vision of Hamvention such that no single vendor defines the show. Likewise, each vendor represented should reflect the values and quality of the Hamvention brand.
